The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Vehicle Health Management to join our Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GHVMS) software team in Hazelwood, MO. This role focuses on embedded software for specialized devices, ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards.

You will lead the full lifecycle of software development, guide testing and debugging, and coordinate with internal and supplier teams to meet project plans and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree is required and U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
• 9+ years of experience with embedded systems and/or developing software (C, C++).
• 3+ years of experience with software utilized on air vehicle, avionics, weapons or mission systems.

Responsabilités

• Leads design, development, testing, debugging and maintenance of embedded software in devices and systems.
• Translates customer requirements into software designs for embedded hardware.
• Reviews code for embedded systems software on targeted hardware.
• Leads integration of embedded software with hardware components.
• Monitors and improves efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
• Oversees testing and debugging of software for embedded devices and systems.
• Evaluates and adopts current technologies, tools, and regulatory changes relevant to software/hardware.
• Advises on software and hardware integration domains.
• Leads embedded software project management activities.
