Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking engineers to develop and maintain safety-critical embedded flight software for New Glenn avionics. You will work on real-time systems, kernel components, and software that interfaces with hardware, contributing to the mission of enabling reliable spaceflight.

Candidates should have strong C/C++, Python experience, a solid OS foundation, and the ability to work across software and hardware boundaries in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related subject area.
• 8+ years of experience writing software in C, C++, and Python.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software, kernel development, BSPs or other systems software components.
• Solid understanding of operating systems and network protocols.
• Experience working with real-time systems and developing software that interfaced directly with hardware and programmable logic.
