Job summary

SEAKR Engineering in Centennial, CO is seeking a mid-level Embedded Software Engineer to own feature development for space-grade electronics. You will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision on critical projects, primarily onsite with some hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of embedded systems development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Solid OS concepts: kernel vs user space, scheduling, memory and synchronization.
• Proficiency in Python, C and/or C++, with OO principles.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, MACs and packet inspection tools.
• Ability to solve problems independently and learn from specs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software in C/C++ for constrained environments.
• Implement state machines and handle asynchronous events (interrupts, signals).
• Work with OS concepts including scheduling, resource sharing, and synchronization.
• Integrate networking capabilities into embedded devices (basic IP/MAC knowledge).
