Job summary

SEAKR Engineering, Inc. in Centennial, CO, is seeking an embedded software engineer at junior to mid-level to contribute to space-grade electronics projects.

You will design and develop embedded software in C/C++, implement state machines, and work with OS concepts in constrained environments, with some networking integration. Applicants should have 1–3 years of hands-on embedded experience, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CS, and familiarity with Python as well.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional embedded systems development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of OS concepts (kernel vs. user space, scheduling, memory management).
• Proficiency in Python, C and/or C++ (OO principles).
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, MAC addresses, packet inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software in C/C++ within constrained environments.
• Implement state machines and handle asynchronous events (interrupts, signals).
• Work with OS concepts including process scheduling, resource sharing, and synchronization.
• Integrate networking capabilities into embedded devices (basic IP/MAC layer knowledge).
