Job summary

TrustPoint is building the world's first commercial GNSS system in space. We seek an Embedded Software Engineer to implement software for our GNSS satellite, payload, and receiver solutions, working with the Chief Engineer and hardware/firmware teams.

You will design, develop and test software across embedded platforms, perform hardware-in-the-loop validation, and coordinate with vendors to ensure reliable operation of our state-of-the-art GNSS technology.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of satellite, RF, Defense, Aerospace, or Wireless experience.
• Ability to develop, test, debug software and firmware in C/C++/Rust.
• Experience with Embedded Linux, RTOS, and Linux kernel or Petalinux.
• Support the Space and Ground Segment Operations team in system commissioning, operations automation, anomaly investigation and mitigation.
• Test software in simulation and hardware-in-the-loop environments, including development of unit and regression tests.
• CI/CD with gitlab-runner, bitbucket pipelines or jenkins.
• Knowledge of Python or shell scripting.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Make, Bitbake, CMake, Meson.
• Willing to travel up to 20%.
• US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software for TrustPoint's Payload and advanced electronics systems.
• Evaluate system performance using hardware-in-the-loop.
• Collaborate with payload systems team, ground infra and vendors to deliver software solutions.
• Maintain focus on meeting development targets and objectives.
