Job summary

TrustPoint, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to own the payload electronics for our satellites.

You will solve challenges turning ambitious space technology into flight-ready systems and grow into a technical leader as the payload hardware team scales. You'll design, test, and lead multi-board integrations, coordinating with RF and test teams to ensure timing, power, and performance meet stringent space-grade requirements.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
• 10+ years designing complex mixed-signal and RF-adjacent boards for space/high-reliability hardware.
• Ownership of primary or complex PCBs from schematic to test and bring-up.
• Experience delivering multi-board system performance and manufacturability.
• Working understanding of FPGA/firmware and software on the boards designed.

Responsibilities

• Own board-level design and bring-up of the payload's primary board with schematics, architecture, parts selection, and first-power-on debug.
• Direct layout, assembly, and test with layout partners, technicians, and payload test team.
• Ensure integrated multi-board payload performs correctly, coordinating with RF lead on amplifier board.
• Design timing and frequency-reference signal chain with low-noise partitioning to meet timing stability.
• Sustain and revise current payload hardware while defining next-generation payload architecture.
• Produce manufacturable, testable designs fitting production cadence and acceptance flow.
