Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in Manhattan Beach, CA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement real-time software for flight, space, or ground systems. You will develop C++ applications for resource-constrained targets and collaborate with hardware teams.

You'll work with RTOS such as VxWorks and Linux, contribute to the full development lifecycle, and ensure software quality across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience required.
• Experience with C/C++, RTOS environments, and embedded Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on data processing systems for product software.
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems related to program intent and inputs.
• Prepare operating instructions and design utility programs.
• Ensure software standards are met throughout the lifecycle.
• Work with RTOS environments such as VxWorks or Linux and related tools.
