Job summary

Pacific Defense is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a small, fast-paced team developing advanced RF systems for DoD. You will design, implement, and verify firmware and drivers for embedded platforms, and collaborate across software and hardware teams to deliver state-of-the-art EW solutions.

The role requires expertise in C++ user-space and real-time development, with experience in containerized software and FPGA/sensor interfaces. A BS EE/CS or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Embedded software engineer with C++ user-space experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features on embedded platforms.
• Prototype and deliver system solutions.
• Design, develop and verify firmware and drivers for embedded systems.
• Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation.
• Work with new technologies that are vital to product development.
• Debug, bring-up, Beta and production software development.
• Collaborate with software and hardware product teams.
