Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corp. seeks an experienced Software Developer to join the HIMARS CFCS team, delivering next‑gen embedded software for a critical defense system. You will design, develop, and integrate software that bridges hardware interfaces and real‑time platforms, using C/C++ and/or Python.

You’ll collaborate with systems engineers, hardware designers, and test engineers in an Agile environment, troubleshoot across the stack, and grow skills on a high‑visibility program.

Qualifications

• STEM degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years of related software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python for embedded systems.
• Experience with hardware interfaces and testing environments.
• Familiarity with Git and SVN.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
