RISE Robotics is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop and enhance software powering our robotic lift systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize components for reliable real-time operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electromechanical product software development in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with controls, brushless DC motors, and motion control systems.
• Familiarity with embedded communications interfaces CAN, SPI, I2C, UART.
• Ability to read and understand complex technical literature such as datasheets and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Embedded Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for robotic lift systems, focusing on performance, reliability, and safety.
• System Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with the platform's electrical and mechanical components.
• Algorithm Development: Create and optimize control algorithms for precise lifting operations.
• Real-time Systems: Develop software for real-time control, feedback, and sensor integration.
• Testing and Debugging: Thoroughly test software to identify and resolve issues for robust operation.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, development, and testing processes.
