Job summary

fab2 is hiring embedded software engineers to build firmware for real-time control of semiconductor tools. You’ll develop from board bring-up to production deployment, working across hardware and software boundaries.

You will write Linux-based Rust applications for equipment control, diagnostics, and automation, collaborating with electronics and mechanical engineers to bring new tools online and scale them into production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of real-time embedded software experience.
• BS in Computer Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; or proof of exceptional skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead microcontroller firmware development for semiconductor processing equipment.
• Design and implement real-time Linux applications for equipment control and process automation.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on requirements and controls implementation.
