Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Software Developer for the HIMARS CFCS team, building next-generation fire control software bridging hardware and software on a real-time platform.

You will design, develop, and integrate embedded and test software, collaborating with systems engineers, hardware designers, and test engineers to deliver reliable, mission-critical software in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• STEM degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years of related experience.
• Professional software development experience beyond college coursework.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python for embedded systems, test automation, or application development.
• Experience with hardware systems: reading schematics, interfacing with test equipment, debugging HW/SW integration, or developing drivers/firmware.
• Familiarity with version control systems Git and SVN and software configuration management practices.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work collaboratively.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
