Job summary

ADB SAFEGATE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-quality software for our IL CMS team. You will focus on LINC360 powerline communication and ACE3 CCR controllers, providing technical leadership and mentoring junior developers.

You will collaborate across hardware, QA, and product management, applying Agile methodologies and contributing to CI/CD improvements, with up to 10% travel for field tasks in the US and abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years in C++ in production environments.
• Experience building and maintaining C++ applications in performance-critical environments.
• Strong software architecture and design skills for industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex software for embedded systems.
• Architect and maintain scalable, reliable software modules.
• Develop unit, integration, and black-box testing strategies.
• Collaborate with hardware, QA, and product teams to gather requirements.
• Apply Agile methodologies to manage tasks and deliver value.
• Review customer standards to derive software requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production.
