The Embedded Software team develops safe, efficient firmware and runs on resource-constrained hardware, collaborating with hardware and system engineers across locations.

The role emphasizes C++ coding, safety-focused design, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust sensing systems for millions of customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, EE or Robotics with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of strong experience developing embedded applications and systems using C++.
• Proficient in network communication concepts including protocols and bandwidth characteristics.
• Experience with Embedded RTOS (FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS) and Embedded Linux is desirable.
• Experience with multi-processor SoCs or similar embedded processors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and efficient embedded software for Radar and Lidar sensors.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable code using C++.
• Design, implement, and test high performance C++ code in resource-constrained environments.
• Design, implement, and test solutions in alignment with Functional Safety standards.
• Work closely with suppliers and cross functional team of hardware/system engineers to ensure success of the product.
