Software Engineer will own design and development of embedded control software for controllers, PFC rectifiers, motor control electronics in harsh environments for aerospace products. The role requires strong C/C++, VHDL/Verilog, LabVIEW and DSP firmware experience, with leadership responsibilities across small to medium software teams and collaboration with suppliers

Qualifications

• Hands on programming skills in C/C++, VHDL/Verilog and scripting languages like Perl/Python or PowerShell.
• Knowledge in embedded systems architecture and programming.
• Programming skills in LabVIEW.
• Firmware development on DSPs/Microcontrollers.
• Analytical understanding of active rectifiers, PFC, inverter and motor control software design.
• CAN, ARIN429, I2C, SPI software modules.
• Use of PSPICE and MATLAB/Simulink for system simulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced control algorithms for power electronics applications.
• Develop control software requirements for embedded code in 3‑phase rectifier and motor control electronics.
• Contribute to system design and independent subsystem designs, balancing requirements, cost and reliability.
• Test and debug power electronics controllers; perform source and assembly level debugging.
• Optimize software performance with control system engineers.
• Collaborate with suppliers to review control software design and interfaces.
• Lead or support software design review activities with vendors and customers.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive improvements across projects.
