Job summary

Kearfott Corporation, a long‑standing leader in precision motion control and navigation, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer (Embedded) to design, implement, and test embedded control software for next‑generation guidance products.

You will participate in requirements, design, implementation, peer review, and validation in a collaborative Pine Brook lab. The role requires a BS in CS/CE/EE, 4+ years in embedded or control systems, strong C/C++ skills, experience with emulators and logic analyzers, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong development skills with C/C++ programming languages.
• 4+ years of embedded or control systems programming.
• Experience with debugging strategies for embedded systems including emulators and logic analyzers.
• Ability to collaborate with a team of engineers and support staff in a laboratory setting.
• Strong engineering writing and documentation skills.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Implement and test embedded control software for next‑generation guidance products.
• Participate in requirements definition, software design and implementation, peer reviews, and validation.
• Generate supporting documentation and test results for certification and traceability.
