Qualifications

• 6+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Medical device software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills; Python experience.
• Experience with microprocessors, RTOS, and embedded systems.
• Experience with SPI, I2C, RS232, or RS485 protocols.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, IAR or similar tools.
• Automated testing and CI/CD familiarity.
• Understanding of software lifecycle, design controls, verification, and traceability.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304 and ISO 14971.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for medical devices using C, C++, and Python.
• Serve as a technical expert for embedded features and architecture.
• Translate requirements into software architecture and implementation.
• Integrate software with microprocessor-based hardware and electromechanical systems.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers on HW/SW integration.
• Conduct code reviews and promote software development best practices.
• Develop and support unit, integration, system, and automated testing.
• Support CI/CD, verification, validation, requirements, and traceability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using lab debugging tools.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers.
• Work with global, cross-functional engineering teams.
