Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc. in San Diego is seeking a Senior Ultrasound Embedded Software Engineer IVUS to advance a next-generation intravascular ultrasound device.

You will design and integrate embedded C/C++ software with hardware, FPGA, and data acquisition components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to software architecture, testing, and production diagnostics in a regulated medical-device environment.

Qualifications

7+ years of embedded software development experience.
Strong hands-on C/C++.
Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers/processors, DSP, or FPGA.
Strong hardware/software integration and debugging experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, and debug embedded software using C/C++.
Develop software interfaces between embedded systems, FPGA, electronics/PCBA, and console systems.
Support ultrasound signal acquisition, data processing, and imaging functionality.
Perform hardware/software integration, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
Support unit, integration, and system-level testing.
Develop software for diagnostics and manufacturing/production test systems.
Create technical design, architecture, interface, and verification documentation.
