Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded software experience with degree
• Expert‑level proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systems development
• Deep expertise in embedded Linux, including kernel internals and drivers
• Proficiency with GDB, JTAG, logic analyzers and cross‑compilation
• Experience with hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, CAN)
• Strong debugging and root‑cause analysis skills in complex HW/SW integration
• Experience in FDA‑regulated or safety‑critical development environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross‑functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead board bring‑up for next generation platforms and BSP customization
• Own embedded software direction for video networking, UI, and ML on Linux
• Design and validate test strategies for board functionality and system performance
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to diagnose and resolve issues
• Architect automated test frameworks for board validation and regression testing
• Mentor junior engineers through reviews and debugging
• Prepare and maintain design specifications and failure analysis reports in FDA processes
