Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Ayer, MA is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. You will design, develop, and support software and control systems for packaging equipment, focusing on embedded software, firmware, and industrial controls throughout the product lifecycle.

You will work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver innovative solutions that improve equipment performance and customer experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering preferred.
7+ years of experience in electrical design and software development.
Proficiency with C/C++, C#, and Python programming.
Experience with IoT technology and edge devices.
Experience designing/restful APIs and working with industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain software/firmware for industrial control systems and test equipment.
Develop software for data collection, database connectivity, and RESTful APIs.
Design and program HMI/GUI interfaces.
Maintain documentation and ECN-based changes.
Support manufacturing activities and equipment commissioning.
Create BOMs and assist with wiring/cable drawings as needed.
Troubleshoot with root cause analysis and field support.
