Job summary

Sealed Air seeks an Electrical Controls & Sustaining Senior Engineer to own the lifecycle of VPP electrical controls from commercialization through sustaining support. You will design, troubleshoot, and improve control systems for packaging equipment, focusing on PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, and VFDs.

You will collaborate with Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Technical Service, Product Management, Sales, and suppliers to enhance reliability, safety, and long-term performance of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical controls lifecycle from commercialization through sustaining support.
• Design, modify, debug, and maintain PLC/HMI/servo/VFD systems.
• Investigate issues and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Support testing, commissioning, field validation, and customer evaluations.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and docs.
• Lead ECOs and lifecycle engineering changes.
• Communicate field lessons learned to engineering teams.
• Drive reliability improvements and cost reduction.
