Motorola Solutions in Melville, NY seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to join a fast-paced firmware and software team. Hybrid work on-site in the Greater New York area is expected, focusing on R&D, manufacturing support, and customer assistance.

You will design scalable software, implement embedded firmware, and work closely with hardware teams to deliver robust products while maintaining high quality through automated tests and documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of embedded development experience in C/C++.
• Proven Linux experience targeting ARM processors.
• Solid OS concepts: processes, threads, mutexes, exceptions.
• Strong memory management in C/C++ and I/O timing knowledge.
• Knowledge of TCP/UDP networking and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement robust software in C++, Linux, Python and C# for high-speed data processing.
• Develop embedded firmware in C for microprocessor-based systems with RTOS.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers during bring-up and system integration.
• Create QA tests and documentation for firmware/software releases.
• Contribute to code reviews, version control, and build automation.
