Job summary

Archer is seeking an experienced engineer to develop and verify embedded software for the Charge Control Unit of a four-passenger eVTOL. You will interface with high-voltage hardware and analog/digital circuits while adhering to DO-178C safety standards.

You will work with systems engineers to translate requirements into software, build fault-detection algorithms, and help certify complex hardware/software systems. A strong background in embedded systems and RTOS is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for firmware development.
• Experience with safety-critical software standards (DO-178C, ASIL).
• Hands-on with high-voltage subsystems and sensors.
• Experience in full software development life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Embedded development and verification for Charge Control Unit.
• Interface embedded software with high-voltage components.
• Decompose requirements per DO-178C with systems engineers.
• Develop fault detection and diagnostic algorithms.
• Analyze hardware schematics and signal integrity.
