Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant engineering field.
• 15+ years of embedded software experience on complex systems.
• Expertise in Embedded C/C++, Linux, and RTOS environments.
• Model-Based software development using UML/SysML.
• Proficiency with Git, Jira, Confluence, Cameo, MATLAB/Simulink, Kubernetes, CANoe.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software for advanced military vehicle systems.
• Develop secure vehicle software with Agile, DevSecOps, and rapid prototyping practices.
• Create software requirements, diagrams, and specifications using SysML modeling.
• Research, model, simulate, and evaluate software solutions to meet performance targets.
• Support software lifecycle activities: design, verification, CM, integration, deployment.
• Collaborate across teams; review and validate test plans; perform system-level testing.
• Utilize tools like Git, Jira, Confluence, Kubernetes, CANoe, MATLAB/Simulink, and related environments.
• Integrate embedded drivers, kernels, VMs, and containerized software environments.
• Support DoD vehicle platforms and ensure safety-critical software integrity.
• Travel internationally for technology transfer activities as needed.
