Job summary

DCS Corp’s engineering group in Warren, MI seeks an Embedded Software Technical Lead to lead a technically advanced team in developing embedded military vehicle system software. You will be hands-on in defining requirements, architecture, and implementation across the software lifecycle. The role requires U.S.

citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, with onsite work and occasional travel. Strong expertise in C++, C#, C, Linux, and modern SCM tools will drive systems integration

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree plus 12 years of engineering experience.
• On-site in Warren, MI with occasional travel.
• Strong knowledge of the full SDLC.
• Proficiency with C++, C#, and C; experience building software for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead software requirements definition, design, implementation and testing for embedded vehicle systems.
• Guide integration of software onto combat/tactical vehicle systems and provide oversight to the team.
• Coordinate with government customers and internal groups to define scope and plan work.
• Establish and maintain software development environment and branch strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform peer reviews.
