The role emphasizes C/C++ firmware development, DSPs, microcontrollers, FPGAs, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, audio codecs, and hardware integration throughout the product lifecycle. The engineer will lead firmware activities, create production-ready documentation, and drive verification, validation, and manufacturing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering.
• 5–10 years hands-on embedded firmware experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded development.
• Experience with DSPs, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and audio codecs.
• Experience with USB HID/FTDI, SPI, I2C, UART, displays, and Li-Ion battery management.
• Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and production support skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement embedded firmware for PCB-based products using C/C++.
• Develop firmware solutions with DSPs, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and audio codecs for embedded systems.
• Design and integrate high-speed analog and digital interfaces with sensors and microcontrollers.
• Interface embedded systems with USB HID/FTDI, SPI, I2C, UART, displays, and battery management systems.
• Collect and analyze technical information from multiple sources for development and validation.
• Lead firmware design activities and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop SME knowledge and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Execute and document firmware verification, validation, and compliance testing.
