Job summary

The Fountain Group is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize embedded software solutions specifically for brewer appliances and platforms. Candidates should have a wealth of experience and a strong familiarity with various embedded IoT protocols and development tools.

This onsite role in Burlington, Missouri offers a competitive pay of $110-$124/hour along with benefits after the qualification period, including health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant industry experience or 10+ years with a Master's degree.
• Deep technical expertise in software solutions for appliances.
• Background in consumer electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize embedded software solutions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
• Lead code reviews and provide critical feedback.

Skills

Advanced proficiency in C/C++ for embedded software

Low level peripheral driver integration (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO)

Experience with embedded IoT protocols (BLE, WiFi, MQTT)

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
