Job summary

Thompson Software Solutions is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development, integration, and testing of avionics software for military aircraft platforms. This role is based in Atlanta, GA and offers a path to contribute to mission-critical systems.

You will work with a multi-site team, apply RTOS and C++ in safety-critical environments, and collaborate across hardware and software domains, with potential travel and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a STEM discipline.
• 5+ years embedded software development experience.
• C++ development for safety-critical avionics systems.
• RTOS experience with MOSA.ic, VxWorks, Integrity.
• Embedded app development using RTOS and Windows environments.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance and work onsite 100%.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
