Job summary

Lynx Software Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Autonomy) to join a multi-site team developing autonomous flight software and embedded systems.

You will work on C/C++/Python for embedded platforms, contribute to autonomy stack, and collaborate with hardware teams across Fort Worth, TX and Palmdale, CA. Requirements include 5+ years in embedded software, experience with ArduPilot/PX4, and a Secret DoD clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years strong software development experience in C, C++, Java, Python, and Bash for embedded systems.
• Experience with autonomous flight systems using ArduPilot and/or PX4 flight controllers.
• Experience with UAS/UAV or RC aircraft operations, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with Git for source control and collaborative development.
• Understanding robotics, autonomous systems, flight software, sensor integration, and embedded system design.
• Proficient with Linux and Windows development environments.
• Ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance.
• 25% travel.
