Rivian is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop and test stand-alone applications for the next-generation autonomous driving platform. You will design, implement, and validate software across Linux and RTOS environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the onboard stack.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience with C/C++, and a commitment to high-quality software delivery.

Formación

• 3+ years embedded software experience.
• Experience on Linux and RTOS environments.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Strong understanding of SoC architectures and OS fundamentals.
• Experience developing unit tests with GoogleTest.
• Familiarity with embedded development tools and debuggers.
• Proficient with Git and issue tracking tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain embedded software for Rivian's vehicles, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Develop application software on Linux and RTOS Embedded platforms.
• Collaborate with BSP team to bring-up sensor hardware.
• Test and integrate software into Rivian vehicles with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and implement optimizations for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software defects.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge.
• Create and maintain documentation for designs, interfaces, and testing procedures.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality and safety per automotive standards.
• Keep up with industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
