Job summary

EXPLEO GROUP USA is seeking a Senior Consultant Software Engineer (Level 6) to deliver high-impact embedded software solutions across advanced aerospace systems.

You will design control algorithms for power electronics, develop software requirements and embedded code, and contribute to system architecture while balancing performance, cost and reliability. This role requires 5+ years of aerospace embedded software experience and hands-on C/C++ and HDL skills.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited or equivalent Electrical/Computer Engineering degree.
• 5+ years aerospace embedded software development experience.
• Strong RTCA/DO-178 processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced control algorithms for power electronics.
• Develop software requirements and embedded code for aerospace systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and subsystem designs balancing performance, cost and reliability.
• Perform software testing, debugging and optimization at source and assembly levels.
• Lead design reviews and interface with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Create verification plans and documentation including DO-178 artifacts.
