Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City is seeking a Senior Associate, Software Engineering to support software development for key growth programs. The engineer will design, implement, integrate, and test modern software solutions and collaborate across engineering teams to deliver high‑performance mission systems.

Essential functions include requirements analysis, cross‑functional collaboration, test procedure development, and participation in design reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
2–4 years related experience OR graduate degree with additional years, depending on level.
Experience with modern software development tools and practices, targeting embedded software.
Eligible for a DoD security clearance; current Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform software development across requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams ensuring alignment between hardware and software.
Develop software test procedures and verification documentation.
Participate in technical reviews and contribute to design improvements.
Support program cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
Travel may be required up to ~10% depending on program needs.
