Job summary

Edison Smart, a California-based company focused on smart home security and connected devices, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. You will design and optimize embedded C/C++ software for video streaming and networking components, running on RTOS and Embedded Linux.

You will work on real-time media pipelines (H.264/H.265) and network protocols including TCP/UDP/HTTP/HTTPS, RTP, RTSP, SIP and WebRTC, collaborating with hardware and cloud teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Embedded C and C++.
• RTOS and Embedded Linux platforms.
• Video/audio streaming technologies (H.264/H.265).
• Networking protocols, including TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTP, RTSP, SIP and WebRTC.
