Amazon in Redmond is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to define performance requirements, optimize end-to-end use cases, and develop firmware subsystems in a cross-functional environment.

You will mentor teams, lead architecture, and ensure clean code following best practices. A Bachelor's in CS and 5+ years of hands-on leadership are expected, with a focus on scalable, reliable systems.

Project Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Export Control Requirement

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
