Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: graduate or undergraduate degree with eight years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in C or C++ language.
• Knowledge with tools such as ClearCase, Jira, Bash.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Preferred: unit testing or auto tests using Python or googletest.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment with changing workloads.
• Strong collaboration and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for a team of software engineers developing software for semiconductor systems.
• Assess feasibility and clarify software roles within other disciplines.
• Verify stability, interoperability, security and scalability of system architecture.
• Identify dependencies within and between parallel software efforts.
• Decompose development scope and estimate resources.
• Support Agile development using C, C++ and Python.
• Create modular, scalable architectures meeting customer requirements.
• Produce and maintain design and user documentation and test plans.
• Evaluate code quality and adherence to architectural standards.
• Contribute to test planning and execution to ensure high quality.
• Interface with customers to capture requirements and feedback.
• Identify skill gaps and drive team training.
