Job summary

ASML US, a leader in lithography technology, seeks a Software Application Engineer in Austin, TX to drive integration of BRION software into customer fabs and optimize performance within the ASML portfolio.

The role involves partnering with AE, D&E and CS, reviewing customer requirements, delivering robust software solutions, and training teams for sustained support. A strong engineering background and customer-facing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to debug software issues.
• Proficiency in software programming and scripting.
• Fluent in using Linux shells and command line tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Experience with customer-facing engineering roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Introduce BRION PWC/PWE software and new products; collect user input.
• Review design documents to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Assist in engineering evaluations and post-install support at customer sites.
• Train other software application engineers for ongoing customer support.
• Coordinate with marketing, AE, D&E and CS to align roadmaps with needs.
