Job summary

RoboForce is hiring a Senior/Staff Embedded Software Engineer, Robotics Platform to architect and develop core robotics platforms for perception, planning, control, and fleet services on Intel/Jetson devices. You will own software deployment, telemetry, DDS configuration, and OS/hypervisor integration, shaping reliability, performance, and scalability of the robotics stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of production-quality software experience with a focus on Linux-based systems.
• Proficiency in modern C++ and Python, with systems-level software experience.
• Experience with large, complex systems and tooling for development, deployment, and observability.
• Commitment to software quality, robustness, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of core robotics platform software underpins perception, planning, control, and fleet services.
• Perform in-depth performance analysis and debugging across Linux-based systems for reliability and real-time behavior.
• Develop and maintain deployment, telemetry monitoring, DDS configuration, and OS/hypervisor-level integration components.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions across the robotics platform.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews and uphold high standards of software quality and best practices.
