Job summary
Linuxconfig in Milpitas, CA seeks a Senior/Staff Embedded Software Engineer, Robotics Platform to architect core platform software for perception, planning, control and fleet services on Intel platforms and NVIDIA Jetson devices.
You will own deployment, telemetry, DDS configuration, and OS/hypervisor interfaces, shaping performance, reliability and scalability of the robotics stack while mentoring engineers and driving best practices.
Qualifications
- Five+ years shipping production-grade software on Linux-based systems.
- Proficient in modern C++ and Python for systems-level software.
- Experience with large, complex robotics or embedded systems.
- Strong focus on software quality, testability, and maintainability.
- Willingness to collaborate in-office five days a week in Milpitas.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy core robotics platform software for perception, planning, and control.
- Lead performance analysis and debugging across Linux environments.
- Build deployment, telemetry, DDS configuration, and OS/hypervisor integration.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.
- Enforce high software quality through code reviews and standards.
