Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer Sr. Staff to design, develop, and maintain real-time embedded software for aerospace and defense systems. You will join the MFC team, contributing across multiple programs and touching aircraft flight control, avionics, and simulation systems.

Expect collaborative work in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams at a major defense contractor. You will develop embedded software in C/C++ for real-time hardware-in-the-loop environments,

Qualifications

• Experience with real-time software and embedded systems is required.
• Proficiency in C/C++ (11+) and Linux RTOS environments.
• Experience with HWIL environments and hardware/software integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C/C++ (11+) for real-time systems.
• Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications.
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
• Design, document, test, and debug software for mission problems.
• Apply knowledge of hardware/software to develop applications.
