Job summary

Digital Dynamics, Inc. (DDI) is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Scotts Valley, CA to lead test strategy and automation for hardware-in-the-loop validation of our software-based control systems.

The role emphasizes embedded system validation, Python/Linus proficiency, and collaboration across software, hardware, and systems teams. Minimum 3–5 years’ QA experience with hardware-related testing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field and hands-on QA experience.
• 3–5 years of experience testing embedded or hardware-related environments.
• Proven ability to develop test plans for hardware-based products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for HIL validation using Python.
• Create and execute detailed test plans for hardware-integrated products.
• Support unit and integration testing with software teams.
• Perform manual, exploratory, and system-level testing on embedded platforms.
• Track defects and participate in sprint-based quality reviews.
