Abbott is seeking a Senior Product Cybersecurity Engineer to secure next‑generation connected medical devices. You’ll lead security design, risk assessment and threat modeling across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or computer science field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity engineering, product security or embedded systems.
• 5+ years securing embedded devices, firmware or IoT products.
• Strong knowledge of Secure Boot, RoT, PKI, cryptography, and firmware validation.
• Experience with threat modeling (STRIDE/OWASP) and SBOM management.
• Proven ability to work with regulators and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity architecture reviews for connected medical devices.
• Drive secure design across software, firmware, hardware and cloud components.
• Develop secure boot, TPM, certificate management and firmware update strategies.
• Create security docs, design specs and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure practices.
• Perform security testing plans and coordinate assessments.
