Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for the Embedded Platform team in the United States. You will accelerate Jetson, IGX and DGX Spark software development with hands-on work across Linux kernel, firmware, and drivers.

Bring-up, validation, and collaboration with hardware teams are key. Strong C/C++ and bash skills, plus BSP release experience, are required to deliver cutting-edge AI-at-the-edge solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of shown experience in Linux and embedded systems development.
• Excellent C/C++/bash programming skills.
• Able to understand platform hardware schematics and engage with hardware team.
• Knows oscilloscope, logic analyzer for hardware debugging.
• Knows software debugging tools used at Linux kernel and firmware level.
• Experience driving Platform BSP features and releases.

Responsibilities

• Implement features to showcase Jetson, IGX and DGX Spark platform capabilities.
• Develop system-on-module designs for AI at the edge.
• Contribute from hardware bring-up to boot firmware and drivers.
• Collaborate with teams to craft system-level software solutions.
• Engage in full product lifecycle from bring-up to production deployment.
• Work across complementary teams to solve complex issues.
