Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to accelerate Jetson development and bring the world’s most powerful AI-at-the-edge platform to life. You will influence hardware-to-kernel software, work across firmware, OS, and SDKs, and collaborate with hardware and product teams to shape system-level architectures.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with Linux, embedded systems, and C/C++/Python/Bash, plus the ability to mentor others and drive high-quality software across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with strong Linux/embedded systems background.
8+ years building and sustaining embedded products through full lifecycle.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and guiding multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Define and expose Jetson capabilities and bring AI-at-the-edge platform to life.
Contribute from hardware analysis through boot firmware to Linux kernel and SDKs.
Lead a global software team and collaborate with design for system-level software architectures.
Build and improve system services for scalability, reliability, and security.
Resolve complex platform optimization and resource-utilization challenges.
Follow a product lifecycle with clear requirements, quality, and performance.
