Job summary

NVIDIA Gruppe is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for the Embedded Platform team in Santa Clara. You will accelerate Jetson, IGX and DGX Spark product software development, applying deep knowledge of embedded Linux, kernels, and system architectures.

You will work with a global team across hardware bring-up, boot firmware, drivers, RTOS firmware, and SDKs to deliver robust platform software. Collaboration and hands-on development are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Linux and embedded systems development.
• Excellent C/C++/bash programming skills.
• Able to understand platform hardware schematics and engage with hardware team.
• Knowledge of oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for hardware debugging.
• Experience with Linux kernel and firmware level debugging tools.
• Prior experience driving BSP features and releases.
• Strong cross-team collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement features that showcase Jetson, IGX and DGX Spark capabilities.
• Bring AI at-the-edge generations to life via SoC and module designs.
• Contribute from hardware bring-up to firmware and driver development.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to craft system-level software solutions.
• Engage in full product lifecycle from bring-up to production deployment.
