Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive display systems. You will work on Linux-based drivers, display hardware integration, and performance optimizations for high-compute SoCs.

Role requires strong C/C++ skills, Linux kernel familiarity, and experience with display interfaces such as HDMI/DisplayPort/MIPI-DSI. Onsite with relocation benefits per policy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with Linux-based embedded operating systems.
• Experience developing or integrating display software, device drivers, or display hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software and device drivers for automotive display systems.
• Develop software features on Linux to control powering, configuration, and activation of display devices and processes.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, integration.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to ensure seamless integration of display software with hardware.
