Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced hardware engineer to design embedded electronics and lead board bring-up for warfighter platforms. You will troubleshoot complex hardware/software boundaries, work with modern SoCs, and collaborate across hardware, software, and test teams to deliver robust products.

The role requires a strong background in high-speed digital design, Linux development, and hands-on testing in a fast-paced environment. U.S. Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex hardware and embedded systems.
• Experience with multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR memory busses, Ethernet MAC/PHY, FPGAs, SPI and I2C.
• Experience with microprocessor/microcontroller selection and interfacing.
• Hardware test and board bring-up experience with high-speed design.
• Familiar with embedded Linux development and device drivers.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent tools.
• Proficiency with Python for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design embedded electronics from concept to prototype, including hardware selection and PCB design.
• Troubleshoot electrical and software boundary issues using lab equipment and debugging tools.
• Work with SoCs and networking hardware to build platforms.
• Collaborate with firmware/software engineers for component selection, board bring-up, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver products.
• Support new developments, deployments, and customer-operated hardware in fast-paced environments.
• Manage involvement in multiple projects across various stages.
