Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking experienced embedded software engineers for its Electronic Warfare team to build a high-performance software ecosystem for a next‑generation EW platform. You will qualify components, collaborate with design and sourcing teams, and ensure reliable, mission-critical integration with the Lattice system.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in relevant roles, experience with defense/aerospace, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
• 5+ years in component engineering, parts engineering, or a materials and processes role.
• Hands-on experience qualifying alternate/second sources for production hardware.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical/electromechanical hardware.
• Experience with design engineers, sourcing/supply chain, and suppliers.
• Experience with high-rigor environments (defense/aerospace).
• Eligible for active U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own qualification plans for new parts and sources across electronics and mechanical components.
• Define qualification plans for production/deployed EW systems.
• Identify critical single-source components and drive second-source qualification with trade and test plans.
• Perform form-fit-function analysis on alternates and present to the change control board.
• Collaborate with EW design engineers from architecture to NPI to influence component selection.
• Serve as component resource to reduce unique parts across EW programs.
• Monitor lifecycle status, triage EOL/PCN notices, drive technical resolutions.
