Serco Inc. in Panama City, FL is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team supporting unmanned systems for NSWC PCD. You will lead hardware design, perform complex PCB layouts, and bring up hardware while driving EMI/EMC compliance.

The role requires an active interim Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI, US citizenship, and 5 years in related work. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Interim Secret Clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5 years of similar/related experience.
• 3 years of embedded hardware design and full product lifecycle experience.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium Xpedition or equivalent).
• Fundamental knowledge of digital and analog circuit design.
• Proficiency in embedded protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232/485, CAN, Ethernet, USB.
• Hands-on experience with electronics lab equipment (power supplies, loads, multimeters, oscilloscopes).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design of mixed-signal hardware systems including microcontrollers and power management.
• Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts with industry tools (Altium, Cadence, KiCad).
• Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Implement microprocessors in designs using C/C++.
• Run test simulations with LTspice, PSpice or equivalents.
• Assemble, test, and bring up hardware prototypes.
• Use lab equipment to verify performance against specs.
• Develop hardware test plans, thermal and reliability testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware to component level.
• Create and maintain design documentation and BOMs.
