Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development in regulated environments.
• Expertise in analog, digital, mixed-signal, low-power, and power-management circuit design.
• Advanced proficiency with Altium Designer, schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM management, and design release processes.
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols (I²C, UART, SPI, USB, BLE) and embedded interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment for debugging and characterization.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, analysis, and verification of analog, digital, mixed‑signal, RF/wireless, and power‑management circuits for medical devices.
• Own schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM development, component selection, design documentation, and release activities.
• Apply design-for-manufacturability, design-for-test, signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, reliability, and safety practices.
• Lead hardware bring‑up, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, characterization, validation, and design verification testing.
• Integrate and test communication interfaces (I2C, UART, SPI, USB, BLE) as required by product architecture.
• Specify, integrate, and troubleshoot transducers, sensors, batteries, chargers, and peripherals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into manufacturable electronic designs.
• Lead or contribute to design reviews, risk analysis, FMEA, and verification planning.
