Job summary

Talently is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own embedded hardware from architecture through production for edge devices that operate in real environments. You will design schematics and layout, drive board bring-up, validate high-speed interfaces, and ensure robust manufacturing handoff.

You will collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to meet schedule and cost targets while ensuring reliability and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
• 5+ years in embedded hardware or electrical product development.
• Experience moving a hardware product from development to volume production.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout with Altium Designer.
• Hands-on with board fabrication, prototypes, and production builds.
• Proficient with high-speed digital interfaces and lab testing.
• Ability to debug across hardware and software boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical board development from concept to production.
• Adapt reference designs into production-ready hardware.
• Prepare board designs for fabrication and work with manufacturers.
• Lead bring-up, debugging, and electrical validation.
• Design and validate DDR/LPDDR, MIPI CSI-2, USB, Ethernet, PoE interfaces.
• Evaluate performance, power, thermal, cost, and form-factor requirements.
• Integrate sensors, processors, memory, networking, audio, and peripherals.
• Support NPI, quality, cost, and production schedules with suppliers.
